Teachers and administration sincerely care about the kiddos! I have one kid totally interested in the performance (plays) part of the school, and one who completely does not have any interest in that aspect. BOTH my kiddos love the school and have experienced great success here!

My son had had two great teachers in a row (1st and 2nd grade), and from what I hear and know, the 3rd grade teachers are ALL top notch! The leadership at VPA is welcoming to all parents, and the principal knows every child (700+) by name. Parent involvement is incredibly high at VPA, also. I am grateful for this school in how it promotes the arts, as well. I'm looking forward to many more fabulous years as a VPA parent!

VPA is an awesome place to work and educate your child. Great staff and wonderful students. Everyone goes above and beyond for each other. The new principal incorporates fun with learning, which rocks! VPA has a diverse group of students and staff, one is sure to find a good match for their personality. Students love being there and it shows. 5 Stars!!

This school is awesome! My children love it here! Maddison comes home happy every day so excited about what she has learned that day. All she talks about is what she did at school! The style of teaching is awesome. Maddison gets up every morning looking forward to going to school. She also can't wait to see her teacher.Vpa has great teachers!

My step son has attended VPA for the past 3 years and we LOVE it. The teachers are all amazing and always willing to talk to parents and take extra time to help students out. The arts programs are above and beyond, especially drama! The plays they put on are highly above normal middle school expectations. The curriculum is great, I always feel like he is being challenged and never bored. Plus, they incorporate a lot of FUN in with the work so there's always something to entertain the kids and keep them motivated! LOVE it! HIGHLY recommend.

Wonderful school which has done a fantastic job with our three children. The magnet program is outstanding as are the teachers and principals. Kids absolutely love going to school here.

Although the score doesn't reflect it, VPA is a great school with tons of parental involvement. I live in Valley View school district, but have chosen to send my children to VPA due to all the school offers, including diversity!
