This is the best school to have your kid(s) attend. They have the most caring teachers and staff on board. The kindergarten class is educated by Mrs. Rossner who is amazing, fun and direct teacher. I highly recommend this school from start to finish.

Saint Rocco School is an exceptional Catholic institution that excels in fostering both academic and personal growth in its students. As a mother of two—my daughter in PreK 4 and my son in kindergarten—I’ve been thoroughly impressed by the nurturing, diverse environment the school offers. As a Black woman who has traveled globally -extensively - and exposed my children to various cultures, I truly appreciate that Saint Rocco’s embraces diversity and celebrates different traditions with genuine love and respect. Representation matters, and this school demonstrates its commitment to inclusion every day.The warmth and strong sense of community are immediately evident when you set foot on school ground. The teachers are not only highly knowledgeable but are also deeply invested in each child’s success, providing personalized attention and care. Their dedication to balancing academic rigor with moral and ethical development ensures that students receive a truly well-rounded education. The curriculum is both advanced and engaging, utilizing innovative teaching methods that make learning enjoyable and impactful. Beyond academics, Saint Rocco places a strong emphasis on character development, instilling important values like respect, kindness, and service. These values are reflected in the students’ positive attitudes and behavior. The wide range of extracurricular activities, from sports to the arts, offers students ample opportunities to explore their passions and talents.Parents are considered essential partners in their children’s education, and the school fosters excellent communication and involvement with families with weekly emails and text reminders. Saint Rocco’s commitment to nurturing the whole child—intellectually, socially, and spiritually—creates an environment where students thrive, both academically and personally. The building is well-maintained, and there’s a palpable sense of pride. The administration is forward-thinking and always looking for ways to improve and meet the evolving needs of the students. In short, Saint Rocco School is a true gem. It provides an exceptional, nurturing education in a values-driven setting where students are empowered to reach their full potential and grow into compassionate, confident leaders. I highly recommend it to any family seeking a supportive and enriching educational experience.Mrs Rossner and Mrs Abjorson are absolutley amazing teachers.

St. Rocco School was a great experience for my family. My son entered St. Rocco School almost half way through PreK and recently graduated. During his time at St. Rocco School he grew into a well matured determined young man. He struggled academically, but by the time he graduated from St. Rocco School he made Honor all through Middle School. He also became active in the school by being elected into Student Council and receiving the honor of being a member of the St. Rocco School National Junior Honor Society. St. Rocco School has prepared him for High School. We are grateful for his time, memories and friendships he made during his time there.

My daughter currently has speech therapy at the school. She is painfully shy. Thankfully in the St Roccos community she feels safe to open up and she is now thriving! I will continue to keep sending her here and they are now like family to my home.

This is the coldest institutionalized school ever. We had two kids there and we are so disenchanted we pulled our kids. They do the same as the public schools and have the same agenda just hide it a little. A waste of money they do common core math and get this character ed and morals are taught via a state funded grant program and not biblical values. Also there is no empathy school wide.

I would rate it a zero. My son loves his new school and it is free. They actually do things against bullying and have a GOOD principal. Terrible school.

We live in one of the 'best' public school districts in Rhode Island. My daughter was doing awful in our public school. They kept cutting this program and that program in our schools....I took two weeks out of my life and toured just about every private school in Rhode Island. I knew Saint Rocco was the one the second I stepped into the sparkling clean building. Knock on wood it has been a phenomenal experience. The school is a solid A+ 10! My daughter has done a complete 180 in every aspect. Extremely grateful. Highly recommend!

This school has been great for all three of my children. It has given them a good foundation in both education, spirituality and patriotism.

The so called Principal is "inconsistent" according to the RI Department of Education. We removed our child due to repeated bullying that was acknowledged but never resolved.

While the school has a solid reputation - this reputation is old and no longer exists at least related to the pre-K program. Lots of promises broken, very disorganized, principal is stubborn and not helpful. I would avoid this school - we pulled our child out it was so bad. The program is far below other school in the area.

Send my child to St. Rocco was the worst mistake. I regret it. The principal has no leadership skills. Definitely too much money for such a poor education.

I am a parent of a kindergarten student and would not recommend this school to any one. I feel that the principal Mrs. Moschella is not qualified for this position. I found her to be incompetent and unable to resolve important issues. The whole ordeal led me to believe that she ws not concerned with my child's best interests. My 5 years old was mistretated and tramautized by this event and it was poorly handled by the principal. After I had to pull my son out of this school I enrolled him in a public school where I found out that he was below his grade level. At parent/teacher conferences with this school I was told he was doing great and there were no complaints whatsoever about his academic development. In fact, his progress report showed he was doing great. In addition, if you have any issues don't even bother calling the priest, because he will never call you back. I also felt discriminated against and feel that my family was treated unfairly.
