Excellent school the teaches all remember the kids names and my children are always excited to go to school every day. I love the technology they add into the lessons as well as communication coming in both English and Spanish to be more inclusive

There is an excellent, strong family feel to this school. Most of the teachers have known my children's names. I always feel welcomed when I am there. However, there is way too much emphasis on MORE MORE MORE TECHNOLOGY. Yes, it's great that the kids can use ChromeBooks and iPads, but how much do they really gain from that? I understand kids can learn from games without even realizing they're learning, but is there a cost to that?Lunch time is too rushed. The children aren't given enough time to eat. Half an hour for eating AND playing is unreasonable. I doubt this is the choice of the school itself, but the school district. Nevertheless, it's something that should be reconsidered and changed.Getting rid of snack time was a horrible choice. The kids come home starving and crabby. Parents don't appreciate that.Safety is a high priority and that makes me as a parent very happy. I feel like my children are safe at Jackson.Overall, I am glad my children have attended Jackson, and would recommend the school to someone interested in having their children attend.
