We are in our third year at the Mendell and have had nothing but a positive experience! The members of the staff are thoughtful, friendly, and engaged and there is a strong parental community that really cares for the school. The teachers are excellent and Ms. Bott, the principal, really cares about her students. We are looking forward to our younger child hopefully starting K1 there in the Fall.

My daughter is in her third year there. The school is a warm, thoughtful and energetic place. The staff are excellent. The principal is a good leader. Communication from the school is excellent. This is as a "hidden gem" and we feel lucky to have our daughter there. Their work on inclusion is diligent, deeply considered and effective.

My son just started in K2 (Kindergarten) this fall and he has really grown to like it. he has a great teacher, Mrs. Stedman who is energetic communicative and creative. We so proud of this little school and the hard work the faculty, staff, principle, and parents are putting in. there is a great community around this school and the Principal, Ms Julia Bott, is an extraordinary leader. There is an active Parent Council and School Site Council, a cool new (ish) outdoor classroom, and more. The parents even helped raise money to bring in a choir director to start a choir for the upper grades. We are still new to the community but so far so good. Our son is happy, we are happy, and we plan on sending our younger children to the school as well when they are old enough.
