I previously gave this school a good review but i must speak out about how the quality of the school has been in a steady decline. My child has been here for her whole elementary school years and is now in her last year (5th grade). The teachers used to be so involved with the parents, they were caring and communicated with both students and parents to make sure the kids were not missing a beat. But the past couple of years there has been a slow but steady decline in the quality of the communication, the staff and of the education in general. There are still some wonderful teachers there, however I believe the leadership (principal and vice principal who don't seem to take the parents' concerns seriously or hold our children's education to any type of standard) has a lot to do with it. If this is to be your school, just remain involved (as parents should anyway), and make sure that your children aren't silently struggling or falling behind with the curriculum.

I personally love this school, as does my daughter. Staff is great, always helpful and they seem to genuinely care about the kids. Of course, there are always a few bad apples, but that can be expected in any school and the staff tend to handle them appropriately. My daughter is doing very well, with high test scores and good grades. I am not sure why there are bad reviews for the school (however I realize every experience is different). However, my family loves this school, and we are sad that this is my daughter's last year here. Shout out to Mr. Garren and Ms. Reed!!!! Best teachers EVER! :-)

This school is a nightmare. Thank god Duval offers the school choice program! I would not recommend any child going here. I like to be involved in my child's learning, and active in the school. You will not see any results from this school. It's no wonder they score below average on everything. Go anywhere, I mean anywhere, but here. If the staff were friendlier, or offered support, it would make a worlds difference. My son was bullied and jumped in the bathroom by two other boys and I did not even receive a call home. I go into the office and the staff tried to bully me! Unbelievable.

Both of my children go to Whitehouse but my oldest is in 3rd grade. He has struggled all year and they haven't offered any help to see if he will improve until it was almost too late. Now he has to attend summer school to be able to pass. I know it's in the hands of the student but the school should provide some more help for academically troubled children. My youngest is in Kindergarten and seems to have done good so far. But I don't have much faith in this school. I am transferring them to a school that is near this school, because it has nothing but good reviews.

Looking forward to my Grandchild going back to WhiteHouse. Mr.C was so very caring about her education. I just wish she could have him him again this year. Great School.

Beware of this school! If your child has to attend this place make sure you stay involved and know what is going on in the classroom. Some teachers are nothing more than bullies and the principal just pats them on the back and tells them not to do it again. I wish parents all the luck in the world if their child attends this school!
