My kids love to go to school because the teachers are encouraging and make learning fun. The school has been wonderful helping my kids get the learning support they need. They feel safe at school.

Awful experience. My children are so stressed out that they are both in therapy at this point. The school shows no love to the children at all. High standards are expected to the point where if the children are not sitting quietly in their seats focusing at all time without moving a muscle you get multiple emails sent home about your child's behavior problems. All they care about is test scores. They are treated like small soldiers. I never expected my children to hate elementary school so much. They dread going here. The school has created a community of depressed parents and anxiety ridden children. The only good note about the school is the fact that there are a few very good teachers here that truly do care about your children and their well-being. The second and third grade teachers are phenomenal. They make learning fun and truly seem to care about your kids. They were our saving grace throughout my children's elementary school years at this otherwise depressing and dark institution.

The principal at the school is extremely unprofessional and rude. I really wanted to love this school, but my child was not getting the adequate care and attention that they needed to really succeed and flourish at Sunrise Elementary.

Low rating. Elementary School is more than test scores. They're creating a bunch of anxiety ridden kids and parents there

This school is ridiculous. I have no idea how they won the Blue Ribbon Award. It should be taken from them. This school destroys children and their of learning. The teachers do not care, they do not praise, their is no encouragement. The superintendent needs to look into what really happens at this school.
