There are some fights after 4th period or after school but just don't be the one talking smack other wise you better know how to fight.

Some of the teachers don't understand this generation of children so they assume things or our work goes abracadabra and disappears who we left in our teachers presence but overall this is one of the best schools in Dallas or CFBISD. GO BRONCOS!

I haven't had any major issues with the school. The teachers are generally responsive, and the PTA is good. I'm actively involved, and I attend all of the parent conferences, field trips, etc. There are a lot of fights with the student body at the beginning of the year, but I think it starts to tone down after a while. The only teacher I've had an issue with is the new choir teacher, Grace Nelson. She appears to be very disorganized and not pleasant to work with.

My kids have been here for 2 years and I am ready to run, my kids will not return here. my kids state that the adults are worse than the children, they fuel the bullying at this school. There are more fights at this school more and more each day. From a parent point of view, this school is not safe for any child. The adults cant seem to control the fighting and bullying here but in fact they join the kids. It appears to be a huge turn around in staffing because I didn't recognize half of the staff from this year. I fee sorry for these children here because they are trying to learn in a hostile environment.

Very good. Kids are from all different backgrounds thriving to learn and grow. The staff and teachers are very supportive of it.

Wonderful experience with our first year at the school. Good class load and homework expectation. Love the availability of superb fine arts instruction. Appreciate the diversity of the student body. Looking forward to the rest of our time at BBMS.

I’d say my experience is bad, but not that bad. The academics and fine arts are good, but the staff can be disrespectful and controlling, especially one of the assistant principals who takes it way too far at lunch when we are barely even talking.

Over all not a good school, just the staff, the teacher are really the worst I had a teacher tell my child to back up like a dog. First year in middle school, then no crossing guard the kids walking to school, wont work with single parents, feel like kids can come up missing on a busy street. I live in Coppell the its makes a big difference on what side you live on..the crossing guard to elementary sits in his truck...just afraid someone child will come up missing just not a good school overall. Wouldn't recommend anyone child going there. my child does, but where else is she going to go and how would she get there. Not a good school due to the staff due to there authority, they take it a little too far.

Terrible the behavior of most students and some teachers being rude and the grading and how they handle bullying.the worst thing is the lunch is terrible they serve old expired food

CFBISD is an exemplary district. I feel some parents get caught up in certain superficial demographics and pass judgment too quickly. Parents I have met are engaged and highly involved. Most students are respectful and bright. Barbara Bush is wonderfully diverse in many ways.The honors programs are exceptional and my sons 6th grade honors math teacher is terrific! This school is an International Baccalaureate (IB) school and the aim is to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. Very inspiring! Clubs and extra curricular activities are plentiful, including coding, karate, private instrument lessons, video game designing, athletics, reading groups and more! Get your child involved with other great minds!The teachers send prompt notifications if there is ever a concern and grades are posted immediately on student/parent portals. Information is very transparent and up to date. Kuddos!

1st four days were good according to my child until they have changed his entire schedule with much boring teachers. His new schedule have conflicts in subjects and there was no P.E class in his new assigned sched. His chosen Karate class was removed. He was even marked absent in one of his class because of the confusion of the new assigned classes. The one whom we talked to about the attendance has no compassion at all. She seems like she does not want to be bothered at all. She is rude and does not have a little bit of professionalism. We have been going from state to state bacause of my husbands nature of work, from all schools our kids went l,so far she is the worst ever we have dealt with. Hoping everything will be okay in the near future.

I really like this school. My son attended 7th and 8th here and I look forward to my daughter attending next year. I was most pleased by the care and concern demonstrated by the vice principal and teachers.

Barbara Busch Middle Scholl has the best director for a MS. Mr. Warnock has a very communicative system with the students parents kkeping us update in all moment. The school has a lot of activities for the students.

I love Bush Middle School! Go Broncos! I couldn't have been blessed with a more incredible group of people to get to know. The staff and students are the greatest group of people I've ever had the pleasure to know. I am inspired on a daily basis by the students' creativity and passion for learning.
