Miserable! It is about who you are in this school in a small town. Nepotism runs rapid. The superintendent is his wife's boss she is the Elementary secretary. The principal is married to a teacher who made headline news for bullying a student and she still teaches there. To top it off they are all good friends. That's just starting at the top...

Like most small town schools, West Iron County High School has many teachers who would not be able hold a job at a better school. Teachers often bring immature and petty attitudes to class with them. A few of the employees hold jobs due to whom they are married/related to. Homework is given in volumes one would expect from college, except for the fact that most full-time college students have less classes at a time. This homework is graded in such a heavy-handed manner, that the best students at school struggle to only maintain a "B" average.
