Excellent school! We have had 5 children attend MVE and currently have two attending. We have had multiple administrator in our many years and the current two principals are hands down the best. They both have an open door policy and have worked with us to resolve a few issues already. Our teachers are caring and the support staff has always been welcoming. We are excited to be able to come back into the school for various events since the pandemic.

Zero. Any parent that sends their child(ren) to this school is either desperate and has no other option or is using the school strictly for a sitter service. I wouldn’t send my kids here again for anything in this earth.

I found our experience at MVE incredibly disappointing, particularly with the current principal. I also believe that the administration and PTO are not remotely open to any suggestions or constructive criticism. I feel that the school has so much potential to be great, yet it will never get there if things remain the same. Families are leaving the school in droves. The word is out in the community that MVE is going downhill.

As a VERY active parent in this school I can speak for the majority of those INVOLVED and that actually see how things are handled within the school . Either with the Principals, Teachers or the PTO. I ensure you that this is an outstanding school.As with many schools, there are parents who will always be dissatisfied with something. However, the negative comments on this page come from a few miserable parents who can never be satisfied. So, please stop by the school and see this school for yourself! Our family loves this school!!

Weird school. They do not want parents to attend class parties or be at the school unless you are actually working for them and improving their grounds. Not family oriented. Not organized at all. My kids brought home flyers reminding them to be prepared for school events that had already happened so many times. We paid to have their names monogrammed on their yearbooks which they didn't get and also did not get our money back for that. When I contacted their teachers about the missing monograms we paid for they gave me the PTO parent's info to clear it up and she literally said to me, "You try doing this yearbook stuff. This entire year has been impossible trying to get stuff from teachers and approval on anything from anyone. Kids are going to be let down in life and can't always have everything they want and that should be a lesson. My position will be up for grabs next year if You want it!" That is the perfect example of how everything was handled. Class t-shirts that your kid is required to get and we had to pay for came in near the end of the school year and we got the wrong sizes for BOTH of our kids that were even in different classes.

I have two children who attend MVE and we have loved it from the very beginning. As a parent volunteer who is at school fairly regularly, I find the school environment to be positive and caring. My children have both loved every one of their teachers as have my husband and myself. Both of our children come home from school happy and are eager to go back the next day. The 7 Habits program that was implemented into our school 2 years ago, has helped my oldest child to take responsibility for his actions and his learning, which I feel will benefit far beyond the elementary school years.

No one ever knows what is going on and the teachers are all very stressed. If they love yer kid then ur OK but if you fail to play their game WATCH OUT.

We have been at MVE two years and we have loved it. I am blessed to be involved with volunteering and able to enjoy watching all the kids achieve their goals. My child loves the inclusive environment and feels like staff is her extended family! Way to go MVE!

My son has attended this school for two years. Administration is great. Teachers are great. PTO is great. It's very easy to give a bad review and hide behind it anonymously. It's also very easy to give multiple bad reviews and do it anonymously.

New administration is really sad and really disorganized. No consistency. Playing favorites is not a good elementary school game. Professionalism is absent. Teachers are stressed and always on their phones. Most teachers and staff look like they should be at home on their sofas instead of teaching young children.

This USED to be a GREAT school. But in 2015 a well-organized machine has become a chaotic nightmare. We lost our principal, asst. principal AND PTO all at once. The place is a nightmare now. My kids (who used to LOVE school) now hate it and don't want to go...it's THAT bad. They actually don't want to go to school now. Our school was never "clicky" and with just a few teachers from a nearby school who's always had that reputation...yes...we're getting "clicky." Certain kids are always in the spot-light, a small group of parents making "special" decisions. Everyone is disorganized. Morale stinks. Teachers are screaming more than they are teaching. Whole classes and whole grades get punished..except the screaming teachers will exclude their own class. They are turning a pleasurable activity like walking into punishment. My kids don't want to walk with us as a family anymore! The administration is more concerned with fundraisers, special causes and interior design than they are on behavior or academics. There is a growing group of us thinking of private school or trying to go out of district.

My child has went there for two years and loves going to school every morning. The teachers are great with the kid and my child makes sure she sees her previous teachers. I have never had an issue with Principal or office staff!!

So far, this school has proved to be a good place for my 2nd grader. He recently got selected to attend the gifted student program. Teacher attention and encouragement contributed to it. Thanks.
