My son LOVES going to school at TCE! He's been there 5 years and will graduate next year -- we will miss it so much! I feel like I send him to a private school, it's that good. The teachers are amazing and highly attentive, the principal is fantastic and super involved, the culture is nurturing and supportive. I simply can't say enough good things about this incredible school. I wish it went through 12th grade.

Our family has had a great experience at TCE. The teachers and staff are amazing and work extra hard. We love all the extra activities they offer for students and families to participate thru out the year. Our child loves the fun loving environment.

My son has been at TCE for 2 years now and we could not be happier! TCE faculty, staff and PTA has completely exceeded all of my expecations. The things I like most is how close everyone is, it is like a family. The school is very well run, organized, safe and Ms. Davis, the principal, does an amazing job with her team. We are looking forward to the years ahead at the school and could not imagine being anywhere else.

In 2014-2015, my sons started their 1st and and 2nd grades at this school with no English skills at all. I was really worry about their academic progress and English barrier. TCE team helps them to cope the language barrier and engage them perfectly with their classes. Now (2015-2016), they learned a lot of English and their academic progress improved dramatically. I really would like to thank all TCE team members for their excellent effort and encouragement.Talal

Friendly, sincere, and polite teachers. My daughter feels much better, more confident, and has more friend. We just moved from NY upstate. She is not complaining about bullying anymore. We feel that she is learning and enjoying the life in a free and lovely ambient.We gratefully thank you all TCE family !

We purchased our home specifically to be zoned for this school based on my nieces amazing experience at TCE. Our son has been at Torrence Creek for Kindergarten and 1st Grade. I would wager that our experience has been better than had we selected a Charter or Private school. The school staff and teachers met with us for a couple of hours before our son was a student at the school to discuss the plan for ensuring his learning disability (ADHD & Dyslexia) would not prevent him from receiving a top notch education. The Exceptional Children’s program at TCE is amazing for students with disabilities as well as for students with above average intelligence. What we love about TCE is that they truly do tailor programs for ALL students and to ensure everyone receives what they need. The teachers and staff are part of the community-many living right here in Huntersville and are highly qualified and top notch. Engagement with students and parents is excellent and extra-curricular activities are well organized and are enjoyed by the majority of students. The other great thing about TCE is the diversity of the student population. There are several cultures represented at the school and the staff/administration/PTA utilize this to engage students and teach them about cultures, languages and traditions. We could not be happier at TCE and recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience.

My daughter has been at TCE since Kindergarten and is now in the 5th grade. . I couldn't be happier with the education she has received, the activities offered, and the amount of communication received from teachers. She loves going to school every day.

12 months ago...5 stars! but I am not sure what has transpired this academic year. Their seems to be a general lack of interest, communication, empathy and interest in the children. We currently have 2 children at TCE with a 3rd who has already passed through TCE and is now in Middle School. The disconnect between teachers, academics and the kids is very evident when walking the halls, not the same "happy" feeling of years gone by.

I had my son at the school for K and had an ok experience. Probably just not the best fit for a teacher for him. I took him to a charter for 1st grade and it was horrible! I quickly put him back at TCE and he's thriving. No more bad behavior from boredom and he has an excellent teacher. All the staff is dedicated to the students and the teachers work their butts off all day every day! I can't tell you how much I appreciate this school after what we were put through last year. My son's 504 plan was promptly updated as soon as school started and we were even able to leave things off of it due to what the teacher was seeing. Phenomenal school and even better now that there are less students since Grand Oak opened.

My 2 children attended Torrence Creek for K, 1st, 2nd and 5th. They thrived here at Torrence Creek. The teachers were attentive to their individual needs and my children did well academically. Since we have moved out of state I have not found a school that we like as much as Torrence Creek. As a personal side note, the children here are phenomenal as well; there are not cliques or bullying.

This is our second year at TCE and loving it there. I got involved with the PTA and being a room parent I was also able to help with the father - daughter dance and i loved being apart of all that. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I was open up to a whole different world since last year was my first year. I was able to be apart of a lot of events at the school. The staff are very helpful the parents are too and the PTA. Being there you can feel the closeness with everyone. I have personally made great new friends and my daughter have too. All in all I love TCE and myself and family are happy there.

I've had a great experience with Torrence Creek, the teachers are all very committed, the new principal Mrs Davis is amazing and the PTA works really hard. My child has gotten the help he needed when he was struggling and excelled on his EOGs after his teacher worked with him diligently.

Torrence Creek is an amazing school. My son started first grade moving from another state. But I can say that every teacher he had have truly care about his success. The school has showed me that all the staff is dedicated to the students.

We are about to begin our third year at Torrence Creek and we couldn't be happier. Coming from a private school, we were a little apprehensive of TCE. However, there was no need to be worried. The curriculum is outstanding and is taught by caring and nurturing teachers. These outstanding educators continuously challenge my son and as a result he has grown so much as a student and as an individual. Parent involvement is strong and supportive. We truly feel part of the TCE community!

My son has been here since Kindergarten, now going into 4th grade. TCE has the best teachers and staff , many have been there since the school opened in 2005. Outstanding parent involvement. The special teachers are amazing, so blessed to have TCE as our home school. Can't wait for my daughter to start kindergarten this fall at TCE.

TCE has had some great changes this year. Our school size is finally what an elementary school should be- as the relief school was finally built and we are now half the size we have been since the doors opened. No more mobile units or overcrowded conditions! The students are all in the school building now. A rarity in a system as big as CMS. Teachers and staff are fantastic. The entire staff is committed to our kids education. The PTA is involved and supportive of staff and students. It makes a big difference to the school community as a whole. I would not want my kids to go any where else for elementary school.
