My sons teachers have been very hands on and patient with him, as he's a handful. He's been getting better grades since moving to this area and going to Pineforest. My son always seems happy when I pick him up. When Ive dealt with administration they've always been accomodating.

All three of our children have attended Pine Forest Elementary and we absolutely love it. We moved from Louisiana to Texas due to several hurricanes and have had an amazing experience here. The administration as well as the teachers do an exemplary job to make sure that our kids are well taken care of as well as their friends.

We moved from Louisiana to Texas about five years ago and chose where to live based on the school system. I have to say that I've never been more disappointed. Both of my children were bullied the entire time they were enrolled there. I think it was even worst for my daughter. It got so bad that I had to take her out of Pine Forest for 2017-18 school year. Her grades were slipping because of her hatred to wanting to go to school, and I couldn't seem to bring her spirits up. Every time there was an incident and I'd be called to the school, I couldn't seem to get the situation under control because it was like the staff didn't care. Now that she's homeschooled, I've built up her character and she's no longer depressed. I have to say that if you advertise 'No Place for Hate', then follow through with it. It's very, very disheartening. Overall, my children did have at least two teachers that were amazing. My advice to parents, make sure to read reviews and research the school for your kids.

I strongly disagree with this assessment. First the student to teacher ration is more like 24:1. The kindergarten classes all share one great room with cubicle walls to separate them. Yes half walls covered in carpet. The principle is decided ineffectual. 3 weeks after sending the principle a letter voicing our concerns about the lack of communication from the teacher, the lack of a good learning environment and how rigorous the matriculation is not , the teacher called us to "handle this problem in a timely manner." The physical education of students consists of running a lap before recess. I am told there is a PE teacher but I am not sure what their function is. We only decided to leave our child in this school to finish out the year because of the stress added to her in changing schools. My advice is to find another school or don't expect much!

My daughter started 2nd grade here, and has been thriving. She absolutely loves her teacher, and I can't say I have any complaints either. We transferred her here from a Houston ISD school, and I was concerned that she was falling behind in math and reading. She has really been improving a lot in those subjects since the beginning of the year. I love the fact that she has art and music now, and she seems to really enjoy her hands-on science class. This school really restored my faith in the public school system.
