this school is absolutely the worst school. i do not recommend it. as a former student, i believe that it is a very sexist school. boys get less advantages than girls and nothing about it is good. the bathrooms haven't had a renovation in years. there are no separators for the urinals. the bathroom stalls do not lock. sometimes the air conditioning is broken and it's not very good. it's just utterly as bad as it always was. there is also too much homework they give out. overall, do not go here.

I wanted my son to go to a catholic school like I did. I had some bad experiences when we applied at other school. It felt like even though my son tested well at other schools they were hesitant to take him because he is autistic. From the moment we walked into St. Jeromes we knew it was the right place. The staff treated us like family and they truly have been amazing every step of the way. They truly see the whole child and understand every child is different. We also left our parish and joined the church as well, we are loving St. Jeromes parish as well.

We are happy to have found a loving learning environment for our kids—a 1st grader and a 2nd grader. They are thriving at St. Jerome and developing friendships as well as their own personality.

Mediocre at best. My daughter attended from pre-k, and now in 1st grade is being asked to transfer to a different school because St. Jerome is not able to effectively deal with a child diagnosed with ADHD. Also, there are 23 students in her 1st grade class - seems like way too many for a private school we are paying tuition to attend.

If I could give 10 stars I would. This has been the best place for my child. They have supported him and helped him grow in so many ways. We transferred in for junior high and my son has gained wonderful friendships. The teachers are caring and are willing to go above and beyond to help in whatever we need. We will be sad to go at the end of 8th grade!

My daughter graduated from St. Jerome and unlike the negative post, she was so prepared for Catholic high school she was placed in all Honors classes her first freshman semester. While I realize not all students learn the same and some apply themselves more than others, the teachers and staff are wonderful and go out of their way to help however they can.

I have to admit that I am quite disappointed. St. Jerome has a very loving environment with fabulous teachers. However, I feel that the school is trying to hard to meet EVERYONE'S needs and ignoring the needs of the students whose parents searched long and hard for the perfect school offering a strong academic and catholic education. They do not have any type of testing for admittance which in turn means that anyone who applies gets in. They claim to have small classes, but some classes have 20-24 kids, and for a private school, that is too many! It is especially difficult for the teachers to have so many when the school has so many students with learning differences and various behavior issues. My son has attended this school for many years and I am sure we will not move him as he would have to start over. But, I really wish he had been (or could be) receiving the attention he deserves and could be challenged in the way he needs to be in order to better prepare him for high school. We are likely going to have to do a public high school instead of the Catholic school we had intended because I do not honestly feel he will be prepared enough.

My son moved from CyFair schools to St. Jerome for many reasons. His grades have gone from C's and D's to A's and B's. He loves the new friends he has made, as well as the encouraging and loving teachers and staff. I couldn't have found a better school!

St. Jerome offers a wonderful family atmosphere. The teachers truly care for the children and work hard to keep their classes challenging and engaging. The students are respectful and happy. My sister moved my nephew and niece here from public school last fall and they have both flourished academically and socially at St. Jerome. I love the diversity of families in this school. It doesn't have the "upper crust" stigma that many private schools can have that can be intimidating to some families and students that just want a good education and Catholic teaching. St. Jerome welcomes everyone with open arms and the students are ALL loved, respected and taught the same. I have truly been blessed to have the opportunity to teach in this school and to work with such an outstanding administration. I look forward to having my own child join the school next year.

After a very bad experience at another school St. Jerome has been really Heaven sent. My kids love the school, I love the school and my kids are flourishing here. The teachers have a lot of experience and treat the kids with kindness and respect while helping us, the parents, educate and form our kids academically and socially. I love that my kids receive the Spiritual- Religious base that I did not know how to give them in the most natural every day way. They really enjoy it! I can not be happier that my kids attend St. Jerome, and they will for several years to come.

Love the fact that this school is not afraid to listen to parents and their concerns.

At first I was hesitant about sending my children to a private school. I wanted my children to grow up in America with all it's colors and cultures. Aside from the feeling of family I have at this school my favorite thing is it's diversity. Highly recommend.

My child recently graduated 8th grade from St. Jerome Catholic School and had attended since 15 months old. From the ECC (Early Childhood Center) all the way through Junior High, my child had great experiences. Tons of learning opportunities, weekly mass, field trips, socials and lifelong friendships. Being an alumni myself, I would not have chosen any other school than SJS!

St Jerome is a great school. The teachers and staff are friendly and helpful - like family. Both of my daughters excelled in their classes and gained a strong work ethic which they took with them to high school. More importantly, the Catholic indoctrination they received is something they will carry with them always. I highly recommend St Jerome.

St. Jerome Catholic School provides a safe environment with strong academics and nurturing teachers. The school truly is a community. My sons attend and I know they are well cared for by all, not just their current year teachers. Other parents, other staff, other faculty look out for each child. All have a sense of responsibility for promoting a culture of caring.
