school is ran like a prison and looks like a prison. there is no disciplinary system, kids are bribed with toys, teachers get no support and have to spend out of pocket and low moral. the principal is basically absent and hides in her office all day making the staff talk to the parents. do not send your child here.

My daughter was withdrawn from this school because the school counselor lied to my husband and said she did not have our current address. In a meeting I had with her and my daughter's teachers I gave her the address and my phone number in January. While the address is out of the zoned area she waited until a little over 2 months left until the school year ended to withdraw her. My daughter cried when I told her she was not returning. This particular school counselor does not take the interest of the child into account.

Beneke is a good school. Everyone's plenty much helpful. Yeah, there's minor problems like no shcool bus. As far as learning goes my kids get the help they need when they need it. This is nothing compare to the middle school. At least in school they Liston to our kids and us parents but it's a whole another case when it comes to the middle schools in this district.

School is NOT one for growth.Needs ALOT of work! TEACHERS NEED ALOT OF WORK,ALOT!!!!!!!!!!!Dont bring your kids here.

First off my daughter is a sweet & quiet smart girl so I never had any problems with her personally so I cant say anything on how the school was with other children and helping or discipline. Most teachers really care but unfortunately there were issues outside of our control. I've noticed the school doesn't send enough informational fliers for events beside the school yr calendar. There have been book fairs and other important events like award ceremonies that I missed. They also do NOT have graduation ceremonies. They did away with printed progress reports/report cards and school buses."Saving money" so they claim. Even teachers didn't have extra paper at their disposal. Several actions they made that I didn't understand. Ex: All year they promised the 2nd graders a zoo field trip, and instead they had a basic "indoor zoo field trip" just a week or so before school let out for the summer and the kids weren't allowed to touch the animals. They got rid of computer lab so they can bring in tablets into the classroom which is ok I guess.What bothers me the most is, admins and teachers were not always on the same page. I think we were just lucky with great caring teachers so far.

Great school...new teachers need a little more help, but overall very good school, looking forward to the upcoming year. My child will be in the 4th grade.
