Mediocre at best. Unless your child is independent and strong willed they will not succeed here

I would like to see more activities during black history month. This school is predominately black and Hispanic and I don’t feel the school does enough to promote pride in black culture. Nothing was done during Martin Luther King. I have yet to anything geared towards educating the students on what black history month is about. Very sad!!!!!!!

This school cares about Hispanics only. Educations is at zero because ALWAYS SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS.

My son is in 1st grade bilingual class, I can honestly say that his teacher Mrs. Carrillo is always on top of her students, she is making sure her students get the education they need. She is a little too strict but I see that as a benefit for my son.

The teachers at this school does not take interest in helping the kids that really need extra help. Either the child get it or not, they are not taking extra steps to help, they just smile and act like they are concerned..What happed to teaching, they only focus on passing the STAAR test, what happened to general academics, general education, since the main focus is the STAAR, can our kids al least get the basics in the classroom..Inaddition, my child had to attend summer school, and the teachers decided that they were going to change the dates, not a problem, but they forgot that the parents was going to need the status of their child passing or being retained.. I waited the whole summer to this date and have not received any information on paper on the test scores .. or status of my child.How as a business profession you don't consider how your parents will be affected waiting for the info.. Personally, I am missing out on good schools not having this info.Everytime I call the school a staff member is always going t be in Monday.I have not seen a Monday yet. They ask that the parents be involved, but the parents cannot ask the teachers and staff to be able.
