I have had 2 children in Simmons, 1 still current. Our experience the last 6 years has been fantastic. The teachers are really engaged and my kids actually love school. They communicate well regarding everything from procedure to events, opportunities, weather delays and closings. There are fun events throughout the year, and the HSA is friendly and easy to help with in a big or even small way. My children are very different learners, but both have thrived. There is a lot of emphasis on emotional well being along with academics. I have loved being a party of the Simmons community.

My son will be starting his 3rd year at Simmons this Fall. The school has exceeded are expectations, and we are loving our experience with Elementary School! Teachers have been excellent, as well as the rest of the school staff. My son has special accomidations and it has been a very smooth process in getting him the service he needs. He has made tremendous growth socially and academically in the last 2 years. Looking forward to another great school year at Simmons!

I have had two kids "graduate" Simmons and one more is still a student. The school has been a safe haven for my boys- a place to grow both academically and as young men. The teachers are constantly developing new curriculum and many have received special grants for programs in the STREAM area that have been an amazing addition to the school :)I'm sorry to see that a few people have decided to use this site to air their "sour grapes" about personal issues. As an active community member in Horsham I can assure you that Simmons Elementary School has an Excellent reputation and our residents are proud to call Simmons their school!

I have been at Simmons for 7 years and each year I have become more and more disappointed in the school. While the teachers are kind and hard working, the level of creative learning is non existent. Even more upsetting is that my daughter has been the victim of bullying (lasting almost an entire school year) 2 separate times. We have filed several complaints about the bully. Each time the school says they are handling it, but nothing happens. The behavior keeps going. I have heard from other parents that they have gone through the same thing with the school. There are 3 families I know of switching their kids to private schools because it's so frustrating.

This school is more concerned about their rating than they are about the children. Issues are swept under the table and ignored so they don't have to report them. We moved soley to get out of this school district. If you care about your child's well being you should NOT send them to Simmons.

To say it straight, I hated simmons. The classes are way too verly complicated, I don't really understand WHY we have a pool and the teachers turn a blind eye to bullying.

though being a good school ,how come is it giving the admission to the kid, last year kid was short of some days in kindergarten admission then moved to other school district which took the kid in kindergarten and after completing the kg from there has applied for the 1 grade in simmons again and the admission is given, should it not stick to its basic requirement .

Simmons is fantastic. A private school education and environment without the tuition. The principal is very involved and all teachers are fantastic. I have 2 boys in the school, both are doing very well socially and academically and the teachers are very involved in their success.
