I CURRENTLY go to Heritage, and I have always been one of those students that would get in trouble. The school has called the cops on me and other people, and they don't tell our parents. They search us, our lockers, our personal phones/msgs/gmails. Most of our teachers have no problem putting hands on the students. The principal follows the "bad" students to the bathroom, including female students. Our school is an absolute mockery and I've been at it since kindergarten. Do not send anyone you care about to our school.

They tell children to not tell parents what happens at the school. The have lockdowns and search students with out telling parents. They try to tell kids they have no right that this is their school and they will do what they say. Do not keep kids safe. Facility will target students. Do not help children get recourses when following behind. Do not help or cant help children that are disabled in some way autistic, dyslexic, ect.

I went to this school from K-12 and love it here. The staff is amazing and the school is kept in very clean and updated condition.

Love the teachers, love the staff. But can we seriously get air conditioning so the parents don't have to frantically look for someone to get their kids everyday its over 90 degrees. It gets very old after awhile.

I have children in the Heritage school district and think it is a great place to raise children. We tried a nearby, highly ranked school but chose to go this route due to the social influences at the other school. My children are smart with many friends that they consider family in such a great environment. I see the other posts about bullying and have to say that we have had no problems with bullying. The principals have been great with me and my children. Not saying there is not problems- but we have not had any.

We have had extreme difficulty with Heritage Grade School and the lack of special education programs. My son has several mental disorders including Aspergers, ADHD and a mood disorder and we are repeatedly denied an IEP, 504 or any formal behavioral plan. He has had repeated behavioral problems and the school will do nothing to put a plan in place during school to help solve the problem. If your child is "normal" it may be a fine school, but if your child is special needs don't expect any help!
