Our family had a bad experience at this school that involved violence, discrimination and bullying. They were worried more about their reputation, and they didn't solve the issue.

My kids have been attending St. Bernadette for the past 10 years. We love the school because it’s like a family, very warm and welcoming. The kids have fun learning in a very nurturing environment. The teachers and staff are amazing. I feel very safe and happy sending my kids here.

The quality of education at St. Bernadette has helped my kids to become intelligent, caring, and self-driven individuals. As parents, we try to instill these positive character traits at home and hope it carries through when they are at school. St. Bernadette encourages that and more. The educators, faculty, and staff work closely with each child to help them succeed, open their creative minds, and strengthen their bodies and souls. Having limited class sizes allows them to accomplish this. The close-knit culture keeps everyone in check and no one feels left behind. Thank you for (over)preparing them for high school and beyond. I'm proud to be a St. Bernadette parent!

We are so fortunate to have found a great welcoming school for our child. Having our child return to school during these unpredictable times was a tough decision to make. We discovered that SBCS offered a part time VPK program. We decided that a part time transition would be best for our child so we enrolled for the 2021-2022 school year. Our child has learned so much, has made many friends and enjoys going to school everyday. Our child’s teachers are very sweet and challenge our little one to be the very best. I also volunteer at the school and everyone from the beginning was very receiving and helpful.

We have been at this school for about 3 years now and our kids love it! We moved from California to Florida and I was so nervous about where I was going to send my kids. As soon as we met with Mrs. Wagner and saw the small school atmosphere, the happy kids, and how nice the kids, staff, and faculty were I felt like we needed to try this school out. Now that we have spent some time here I am happy to report that sending my kids to St. B was one of the best decisions I have made. In fact, St. Bernadette is not only my kid's school, but it has become a part of our family. It is the type of school where I can call the office and be asked how I am doing and what's new. It is the type of place where when I ask my daughter who she played with at school she says that everyone in her class is friends and everyone plays together. There are so many great things about this school and it is hard to explain all of them through a review. However, to summarize I love this school because all the kids at St. Bernadette are loved by all the staff, faculty, and volunteers here. The kids can feel it too! It is a GREAT Catholic school education, it has a small school and family atmosphere and despite the challenges of COVID my kids are having fun with school activities as well as excelling in their academics, understanding of the Catholic faith, and growing in their love for God.

With the excitement of our only child starting Kindergarten in 2020 and the added anxieties of the pandemic, we were unsure as to what would be the best option for our son. We decided to meet with Mrs. Wagner, the principal of St. Bernadette Catholic School, and tour the campus. The kindness Mrs. Wagner showed us and her plans for the unprecedented times put our minds at ease and our decision was made. We love that St. B is a small school community. The teachers and staff know all of the students' names and there is so much attention to detail. Our son is getting a great Catholic education and learning to be a kind and loving person, all while having plenty of opportunities to still be a kid! My son looks forward to lunch outside on the deck, recess in the big field every day, and the specials classes--there is always at least one every day of the week. Something exciting is always going on and the principal and teachers are ready to celebrate the students' accomplishments, big and small. The large property that the school sits on provides an added layer of safety. St. Bernadette Catholic School allows our family have to a great school-home-life balance.

St B is small and supportive. I feel like my child gets a lot of positive feedback and attention from all her teachers. When I've had to go to administration with a concern it was handled professionally and quickly. I was very impressed. looking forward to many happy years at St B!

Love this school! The school has definitely been on the upswing in the last few years. The new principal is trying new things, and some people are bitter about it (see other posts). She has really turned the school around and we love it!

St. B is a good school in transition to becoming a great school. Parent involvement is needed to help admin reach goals. School has small class sizes (1 each grade) and family feel. The children & proactive parents are known by the teachers/staff by their first name. My child excelled in primary w/good grades/high test scores. In middle school we re getting adjusted. Through the years we had a problem w/only 1 teacher & was handled by admin. In middle school there are new teachers & problems with retention. We voiced our concerns and were advised issues are being addressed. As an educator, I know how hard it s to find capable/compassionate teachers. We r proactive in speaking directly with teachers & admin & our concerns were met w/respect & promptly addressed. We feel children are in loving/caring environment. Curriculum is good but could use a lift. Recent changes in school communication w/phone calls, emails, & newsletter keep us updated. Fundraising a must. We d love to expand campus with a gym/cafeteria. School is very clean & fence adds layer of security. School lunch was outsourced & could be better. Payment for lunch is good w/ability to pay/track purchases online.

My child has been a student at St. Bernadette for 8 years. Since the new principal, Mrs. Wagner has taken over 1.5 years ago, the school has gone down. She doesn't care about the children and could care less about the parents concerns and complaints. New teachers hired are not up to par. The priest, Father Dalton, is very intimidating and most students are afraid of him. The education that my child has received this school year is not worth the cost of tuition. If you are conserving St. Bernadette, look for another Catholic school.

Love this school. My wife and I took our time choosing a school where we will feel that our kids will be safe and will receive a great education. Our kids are in Kindergarten and we couldn't be happier with the results of this school year. They are in an accelerated reading program, which is very demanding, but it has incredible results. Their teacher, Mrs. Novoa is very pleasant and approachable. Parents have to stay very much involved which to us is a huge plus. Only one class per grade which is great in the sense that you know your child is receiving the required attention that he or she need to succeed. Couldn't be Happier with St. Bernadette.
