My child is in 1st grade. We were going to move to Cooper City for “better schools” we changed our mind and have decided to stay in the area. I have never seen so much engagement with the students. The teachers are the best. The Principal Mrs, Familia and the Assistant Principal Mrs. Gonzales are hands on. They are at dismissal everyday. They are fully available and engaged with the families. It’s a melting pot of cultures. Everyone feels welcome no matter where you come from. I Love being a Bob Cat mom. I’m excited for what the future holds for our students.

My daughter has attended this school since kindergarten. She is currently in the 3rd grade. She has two amazing teachers, Mrs Crawford and Mrs Platt. The are amazing and have been there to guide her both online and in class teaching. Mr Alejo I have to say is one of the best principals I’ve met in my life. He is dedicated to his students, staff, and school. More importantly, he went above and beyond during the pandemic. I am a nurse at Jackson Memorial hospital, and last year they were passing out books and supplies for the students on specific days, during which I was working long days at the hospital. I could not make neither of the days posted, and have no family here to help. I called the school and explained my situation. He volunteered with hesitation to take the books to my daughters sitters house. He doesn’t know how this kind gesture made a huge impact on my day. It was a tough day at the hospital that day and that kind gesture made the day better. His small gesture, which was big in my book, made a huge impact on that day at the hospital for all. I shared the news with my colleagues, and all praised him with kind words. The principal, teachers, Mrs Gonzalez, Priscilla, and all the staff at boulevard heights have my respect. Thank you all for what you do. God bless you all always.

We have 1st grade twins in this school. One is in general Ed and the other in ESE. We absolutely love our school, teachers, and staff. Both Mrs. LaMonica (GenEd) and Mrs. Glinton (ESE) are kind, caring, patient, and knowledgeable. Our principal, Mr. Alejo, is very involved and approachable. He loves his teachers and students and it shows. Sometimes, you’ll even see him directing traffic... in the rain. Wouldn’t trade our school for anything!

My daughter will be attending this school in the Fall. I don't have any experience of the school in depth yet, but my first impression from the office staff was friendly, homey, and inviting. We are excited to see what the year has in store for our daughter in Kindergarten.

My daughter was previously enrolled in Pines Charter Elementary located ont he western side of Pembroke Pines, and let me tell you, the difference is night and day! At Pines charter my daughter was ridiculed almost daily and the administration there only seemed to care about how much $$ we could donate to the school. We had to move to the eastern side of Pines and decided to enroll her at Boulevard instead. And omg we noticed a difference on day one. Not only did the administrative staff demonstrate that they actually cared about the kids, but the teachers took it upon themselves to communicate effectively with us. It was no longer about putting a label on my daughter, it was now about how we as a team could help her. And she's much better off because of it. The school may seem a bit dated on the outside, but don't let that fool you. It makes up for it's exterior appearance by having a caring staff that will treat, and educate your child as if it where their own!

Boulevard Heights has been a great experience from beginning to end. We have seen our child reach and exceed his academic goals while enjoying his learning experience. We have been so motivated as parents to be involved with his teachers, students and staff throughout the year. The principal at this school is amazing. Mr.Alejo is always available and treats you with respect. He understands we all have a common interest which is for our children to grow in a happy place. Also, Mrs. Gonzales (assistant principal) is great. Always around helping the students and making sure they are safe. I love the dual language program, its phenomenal with awesome teachers too. Overall everyone that works in this school is fantastic. I could keep writing but the gist is...if you want a safe, happy place with great leadership and teachers who care that your child meet his academic goals...BOULEVARD HEIGHTS ELEMENTARY!

This is my daughters first year in kindergarten and this school has been excellent for my child. My child is a special needs student and the assistance offered at Boulevard Heights has been exceptional. She struggles with her speech and is developmentally delayed in some areas. The speech and language pathologist Ms. Alicia Ramirez has been such a big help to her. My daughter started this school using only two words in a sentence. Now she uses up to five words in a sentence. Her teacher Ms. Glinton is always updating me each day about my child's behavior and improvements. She is even helping me to potty train my child. This school has been a fresh breath of air. It's hard to find schools to accommodate a child with special needs. I'm so grateful to have found this school.

My experience in this has never been short of excellent. What makes this school great are the two ladies that take care of all visitors. Whenever I show up they remember me and know who my children are. They make me feel welcome and are always updating me on the going-ons in the school. When signing up my twin girls for the upcoming school year, I do it with comfort because I know these ladies will be there and help me with anything I need.

So far so good. He started like 2 weeks ago. Left previous school due to bullying. So far no bullying here. My only problem is that my son has dairy allergies. One day he had lunch with no drink because a juice or water was not given. I have to send him a water bottle daily to make sure he has a drink during lunch. Beside that great school and helpful staff and good principal.

This is definitely the best elementary school in broward county. My daughter has learning disabilities and starting from the principal, administration, front desk staff and teachers, they are always there for her to promote her learning and help her grow. Boulevard Heights prepares our kids to succeed in a competitive world no matter their skills or abilities.

The Administration, teachers and the front office staff are always so nice. Always handling things professionally. Ms. Priscilla and Ms. Chow are always welcoming as we enter the office. When they are not there it's not the same. We love BHE.

This school is an all-around great school! BHE has always been welcoming and has always kept parents very well informed and involved. A great school needs a great leader and BHE has just that. Mr. Alejo, the principal, is AMAZING. Any concern a parent may have, Mr. Alejo makes it his mission to ensure that the concerned is addressed and his parents are happy. My son attended this school for 3 years and until this day he praises Mr. Alejo, his previous teachers and the students. The principal and staff have had such a positive impact on him. He loves Mrs. Rice and Ms. Francois, as do I. This school year my son is attending another school and we have been very disappointed with this other school. My son has been begging to return to BHE. I remember attending BHE's 'Kindergarten Round Up' and I remember Mr. Alejo telling the parents that when he loses students to other schools, they usually come back. He was definitely right! Next year we will be back.
