I was a student at this school who earned a place in a college advancement program. There was nothing that I wasn't prepared for and I was able to return to the school to conduct my at home chemisty and physics experiments, and got help from the english teacher on my papers. The guidence counselor has been nothing but helpful and encouraging. I love this school.

Favoritism is the only thing this school knows. My children had no help from the guidance department and were literally kept from pursuing their interests in this school. The classes they needed for their future were always full, they were told their career choice was pointless and there were no jobs in that career path. ALL lies --- I thank God I got my children out of that school before that school and their guidance counselor destroyed them any further.

My children have and are doing very well at the school. The first is in her junior year of college in a nursing program. The chemistry and anatomy classes she had at Lake Holcombe prepared her for these courses at college. If she had a question at college she e-mailed her high school teacher and got a quick answer. That's above and beyond what's required of him. If I have questions about anything I contact the staff and they help. That's the advantage this small school with a caring staff.
