My child attended school here from 1st-5th grade. I absolutely loved how they were so attentive to my child. If he was struggling with anything from emotions to homework, they would step in and help immediately. My child and I were treated like family. The staff in the office are phenomenal women!! The sense of comfort we felt from the school was unexplainable. I just wish they had more sports for kids. Other than that school is fabulous!!!

Valeo Academy comes highly recommended. All of my children have attended this school. The homework requirement here is higher than you'll find in most public schools; however, the pay-off is that your children will be ready for college and prepared for the workload that college brings with it. Class sizes are small, which provide for more personal attention from teachers and faculty, though it may result in fewer opportunities for team sports and other extra-curricular engagements. For example, when there are enough boys for a basketball team, the school will run a team that year. This year, the 8th grade girls are running a volleyball team and made it to Regionals so far, in their 1st year. The school extends a lot of grace to students who exhibit behavioral issues, and works with parents to hammer out the best situation for both student and school. Due to the small school size, there is no Special Education option. The teachers and staff truly care about the students, and in a school of this size (~100-120 students K-12), they know every student by name. This school does require parents to partner in their child's education, so you will need to consider how much you are going to personally invest in your child's education when signing up for this school. "Partnering" entails volunteering for field trips, lunch assistance, attending events, and most importantly, assisting your child with homework and character development. If you are looking for a school to help your child develop into a well-rounded individual with Christian character, this school is an excellent choice.

as a former student of valeo. My experience was not good.homework: there was so much homework, so much to the point where the teachers would lose the homework and accuse the students of not doing the homework. if someone wasn’t able to do the homework, the students were told that they were lazy and wanted to make excuses.teachers: the teachers are extremely strict and have extremely high expectations. most of the teachers favor some of the kids and let them do whatever they want to do.treatment: the way most of the teachers treat the students is bad. the teachers let the teacher pets get away with dress code and do what they wanna do. dress code: the dress code is extremely sexist, the girls are only allowed to wear jeans with no holes in them, while the guys can wear what they wanna wear. if you wear leggings there even loose leggings you will get sent home or you are forced to change.bullying: there is lots of bullying, i was bullied there very badly, and the teachers would refuse to do anything about it.religion: the school is very religious, they enforce religion in ever single subject such as math, english, science and every other subject.disability: there is no special ed there. and kids who have disabilities physical or mental, they are most likely to get bullied very terribly.

the school is pretty good. but there is favoritism for teachers' kids. there aren't any clubs due to how small the school is, no sports either. if your child has a learning disability, find another school- it's too small to have a particular class for these kids. you must pass multiple tests to be qualified to attend this school. there is an on-site guard at the main entrance. there is a lake in the back of the school, and the chapel is built over it (no, there aren't any swimming lessons in the lake). have you ever heard of the mile run? most public schools are required to have students participate in a one-mile run. at this school, they make this a fundraiser (because they need outside funds to continue operating), and you have to at least raise $100. students with the highest earned funds receive prizes like a Nintendo switch for 1st prize. oh and you also have to run three miles instead of one. tip- put icy hot on your ankles for this run, as the running area is slanted. the other yearly activities are very fun to do.

My two children are having an amazing experience at Valeo. The Teachers and and staff love my children. I know that my kids are safe and get in a strong education.

My experience with this school has been amazing. My children excel in their studies and feel encouraged and loved. They are learning the Bible and what it means to have a relationship with God. They are challenged to get out of the comfort zones. There is no perfect school in this world. But the teachers and office staff are teachable and truly care about the children.

There are forms of racism towards some students and a lot of favoritism that is shown towards the teachers children.

I love Valeo Academy. All the teachers teach you how to have self government and what makes it great is the family atmosphere.
