Hinton is a very underrated school in terms of the teachers. The school has many good teachers, but the students seem to have no respect. The students though who do genuinely care about doing well in school and sports in Hinton tend to. The teachers are good, but the attitude of the school needs to change.

Most teachers at this school are brilliant and helpful. The rest are the exact opposite. The major problem with this school is the leadership (counselor mainly). The academics of most teachers are not too challenging, which is great for a student living in the moment, but later in life, it is harder to adapt.

I was a teacher for several years and can say for sure the high school is a joke. Coaches leaving in the middle of the year do unethical practices. Math teachers that cant help the students before or after school. There is no consistant discipline!

Hinton is not too large, not too small. The teachers and staff are caring and respond quickly to parental concerns. As with most Oklahoma schools, they could use more teachers and equipment, but these folks do well with what they have.
