The administration is dishonest and lacks integrity. They allow relentless bullying, falsified records, and IEPs. They deny children the appropriate interventions to appear like the school is superior to others.

HMS has a number of issues. The most important one is inadequate leadership from the principal. Teachers vary in quality, some are interested, but many are not. Parental concerns are usually treated in a flippant manner, teachers clearly have no concerns about their relationship to the community. Teacher issues are not resolved by the principal. PSSA scores are good, but don't forget that this is a wealthy community where parents take an interest in their children's academic performance. They get every advantage for their children's academic success outside of school: lessons, travel, tutoring. So test scores may reflect the community more than the teachers' success with the students.

Well to Deborah Mallek, a parent." I hate to break it to you but I am a current Hershey student. And if the school you went to had enough potential why didn't they teach you if you don't have anything nice to say than don't say anything.
