    It’s our 2nd year at Ellis, and we’ve been very happy with it!

    Most teachers do not care what happens in their classroom. Over the past four years, I have had one child locked in a closet by other students, and another child had her hair pulled at the top of her head, got cursed out, and told that she was going to be killed by a student in the classroom with a teacher present. The administration's solution was for my daughter not to look at this student. The guidance does an awful job. If you need school records, do not expect them any time soon. We requested them on July 2 and are still waiting. It's only almost October! There seems to be no website for this school so you have to call them. Good luck trying to actually talk to someone who knows what they are doing!

    Has teachers who shouldn't be teaching...non-caring, aloof, and petty. No help beyond the bell. Thank goodness Poe is gone, but some of the same attitudes still prevail.
