    Sugarloaf Elementary is a Leader in Me School. It was the first in the area to qualify as a Lighthouse School with the Leader in Me Foundation. Students become leaders and learners. This school has seen excellent growth. Sugarloaf is also a Title I school and multicultural with many supports from the community and families. There are parent day and evening events.

    Extremely supportive staff with a caring and positive demeanor. We could not be happier to be here after having some bad experiences with other schools in the area. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

    We just moved to the area and are impressed with Sugarloaf Elementary School. Our 1st grader there loves his teacher and classmates and is excited to go to school every day. Communication from school to home is good, the fieldtrips and activities are well planned by school staff, and our child has been successful with learning, behavior and participation. Only one concern from our personal experiences: the school's main office/reception area does not offer a friendly or particulary helpful atmosphere... neither to adults or students.
