This is the worst elementary school I have ever witnessed and have been in. I feel awful my children had to attend here at all. The staff do not care about the kids. They allow their assistant principal and front desk staff to yell at the children over loud speakers in the lunchroom where it echos awfully loud. I have also witnessed the assistant principal singling a child out demanding they stand up only to embarrass that poor child in front of the whole lunch class. Awfully traumatizing coming from someone who is supposed to make children feel safe and cared about. The school refused to open a bullying case for my son who got smacked on his back where an intense red handprint mark was left on his back only because he didn't use the word bullying to describe the incident. I would never recommend this school and I strongly feel this is not an acceptable environment for children.

This was the first part of my review that I accidentally cut off.I come from a family highly involved in education. My father and two of my uncles and an aunt who also lived in Henderson, were career teachers of over 40 years, my father taught in Henderson (though not at Taylor) for over 60 years. One of these uncles was a career teacher at Taylor . Their 22 children all went through Taylor during the 60s and 70s. The name for much of that time was Park Village Elementary. The name was changed, but the school has become a completely different place now. Most of us have gone on to get college degrees. My sister and husband are also teachers. I guess I truly expected that any of this would matter, but alas it did not. And the result was crushing to me!This week in September 2022 I was in town for a week. I normally live in Florida. My husband and I just wrote our first book, a children's story of creativity and imagination, of Alaska and Norwegian stories, of kindness and overcoming fear and other nice character traits. A simple, happy group of stories. And education and classroom use seemed to be such an ideal environment.

Robert Taylor Elementary. I have friends who have children attending or attended this school. The parents and students both liked the school and enjoyed the teaches. It's nice it's close to a church and God. Since the new one was built it has certainly improved the neighborhood. After school programs are outstanding.

I love the zumba and breakfast program that allows all to eat, no matter of income, and the teachers are loving....

This school is one of the best. I moved into this area just so my kids could go to this school.
