The teachers are trying their hardest, but aren’t really engaged into the teaching and things, and overall the school is decent, but needs to get a bit better with family engagement especially.

My girlfriend gets constantly bullied and they do nothing about it like seriously you are allowing a girl to get bullied and she feels horrible because of it so how about you fix this shit and stop bullying like humans and be focused on stopping it

While it has some excellent teachers and is certainly well-funded, this school has some serious and sustained problems with equity, inclusion, and quality of instruction that administrators, some faculty, and many parents consistently try to sweep under the rug. A general culture of self-congratulation (even as the school and district sink lower by various state-wide measures) and, instructionally, an over-reliance on packaged curricula, create an uneven experience for students, as we saw when our children attended for a year. Your child might get lucky here -- and your child might not. That is what it comes down to, and the school should be doing better than that.
