Intermountain is a cesspool. They only write negative things about the children in reports and meetings, most of which are misinterpretations of the truth.IM amplifies and enhances the children's fears and traumas. The children are violated from holding therapy and have strong feelings of helpnessness.IM staff and DHS are in cohoots with each other, nothing is being done to address the issues. The running of IM needs to be evaluated and changed. The staff are incompetent and don't have the needs of the children at heart. Intermountain is money motivated and not focused on the children. Parents are sending children to IM hoping their children will come back 'fixed' when it only causes them more issues.

Intermountain is a very safe place. They are transparent with everything that goes on, and children work through relationships, not behaviors. In my experience, as a parent with a child that lived at Intermountain for two years, the parents who leave upset and negative, are the ones who weren't willing to look at themselves. My guess regarding the negative comment below would be that it's from a parent who would rather blame the school for their child's choices than look at what was really going on, because in mine, and so many other's experiences, this place is a life-changer, it's safe, staff and faculty are I highly recommend it.

Budget cuts have completely reduced the quality of education and staff. Students are not cared for responsibly, parents are lied to, and always blamed for problems school doesn't want to handle or cannot handle. Intermountain is not a safe environmen for children.
