Hedleys school is an blemish on the concept of education. They overlook bullying by students, and punish the victim when he/she retaliates. They focus so most of our tax dollars on mediocre sports and they have done away with all creative classes that they cant use as an excuse to participate in competitions. The staff is as incompetent and lazy as they are blind to the true goings on at the school. They allow non-residents to attend school despite the fact they are not paying taxes in the community. I would advise anyone thinking of allowing their children to attend this school to look elsewhere. Hedley school has become a dumping ground for memphis' problem children.

Hedley CISD is better than ever. With an experienced superintendent, experienced principal, and a coach who is in the Six Man Hall of Fame, enrollment is up. The teachers and students are enthusiastic. There is a positive attitude that has been absent in the past. Classes are small. Teachers are dedicated. Students are motivated.

Hedley School is not as good as it once was. The enrollment is declining and the administration is lacking in the discipline of students. The current administration is also neglecting the upkeep of the school building and this is beginning to show.
