The teachers are amazing! I have been here since 4 years and my kids are thriving! The teachers work hard to help you if your child has difficulty or challenge in educational area.Honestly best community members here too! People help out each other. Super pleased with the school.

This school has changed so much. The staff is very difficult to deal with. They clearly have favoritism with the friends they personally know outside of school hours. If you're personally friends with the staff, the policy would not apply to you like it does to the other parents and students. I have witnessed this first hand. Very miserable and disgruntle people working there. You can feel the vibe and tension as soon as you walk into the front office. No friendly similes or good morning when you walk in. Seems like they don't want to be bothered or do their job. Racism and bullying is handled very unprofessionally. It's sad and unfortunate because I heard good things about this school but it was from people who attended many years ago. Definitely a lot has changed.

My 6yr old attends Meadowvale Elementary school and my older son went there til he was in 5th grade. I absolutely love this school, it reminds me of private school because the teachers and staff are very involved in the student's academics and overall best interest. I wish my older son was still attending this school because Havre de Grace High School is the complete opposite! I am happy with how Meadowvale functions and interacts with the parents. I think it is very important that the teachers communicate with the parents. It shows sincere concern for our children and that's what I love about this school! Whether your child is doing good or bad, you will know about it ;-)

Great teachers staff students & parents. I love Meadowvale ES. I have one student still there & one that went there from k-5.
