HMS supports bullying culture by sweeping everything under the rug. As long as they look pretty on paper, the district is fine .

Pressured my child into going to a lgbtq after school club. Bullying is out of control and staff does not care about safety. In addition these rankings are not accurate. The quality of education has dropped so much in 10 years that it’s not even recognizable. Pulled my son and he is having a much safer and better experience at a “worse” school

Engagement is a two way process. The Principals are excellent, as well as Superintendent and Co-Superintendent. This district, as every school district needs more family Engagement to support the entire school community.

Completely unresponsive administration and school board. See some of the comments from the student in 2009 who watched a student bash another kids head into the locker and the comment from a student in 2017.

Both of my children attended Haslett Middle School and I was very pleased with the feedback I received from their teachers. They had an excellent academic program taught by some wonderful teachers!
