The communication between school and parent is HORRENDOUS. Communication with teacher’s are non-existent. If you are a working parent – you see your child’s teacher 1 maybe 2 times a year. When they need you to vote on their failing heating and cooling system, you are inundated with emails, texts and recorded voice calls for days. There was a medical lock down that occurred but no communication was provided to parents. You are given a day’s notice as to a “Principal’s Round Table”. The scramble for child care starts because you would like to attend and hear what he has to say – Colangelo has many empty promises on how he is going to be a better communicator. If you are the principal of a school - you should be communicating with parents on a regular basis. When you email Colangelo, there is never a response back. Doesn’t make you feel vested in your child’s school.You are given your child’s test folder at end of month – how can you help your child if there is an issue understanding a test/quiz when you are given that test/quiz a month later. I’ve witnessed teachers verbally berating a second grade boy in their outdoor playground – or as the kids call it – “The Cage” – that is basically a basketball court. Kids are only given 23 minutes to eat lunch and 25 minutes for recess where staffers are too busy on their social media accounts or socializing with one another. Looking forward to next year when my child is in another school.

My son & daughter go to Lincolon school & we are very pleased with the school. The teachers & administration are excellent and ensure the students get the best education possible.

My daughter started this school 2012-13. My daughter loves this school so much because of the teachers and the surrounding. The teachers were so kind to the students as well as to the parents. Teachers of this school giving 100% effort to bring the children's perfect. Im so proud of my daughter studying in the school.
