We've been a Creekside family for 6 years now, and I would never take my kids anywhere else. The teachers truly care about their students, and go above and beyond where necessary (even going so far as to organize a clothing drive for a family who was in need). The principal is fantastic, greets every student (and parent) by name and really connects with them.

My child has attended two elementary schools. In the previous school my child was engaged, excited and pushed to improve. Paper/pencil homework was regular & expected - not overwhelming. Emails were acknowledged & responded to promptly. The principal was an active leader. The teachers and staff followed. My child talked about the school all the time. Creekside has great reviews. My child has some made great friends and we've talked about them regularly. However, the principal and teachers seem disengaged. It may seem small but active principals send their own email. This principal sends communications to parents thru the office staff. I have a very strong feeling he is just putting in his time. That attitude flows to some of the teachers. There is very little (almost no) homework. Low expectations? Perhaps the teacher doesn't want to correct homework. Creekside test scores hover in the 70th percentile. Could there be a link between the lack of homework and poor test scores? If your child attends or is planning to attend this school - just be prepared to heavily supplement the lack of education they will receive at Creekside.

So-so, commonplace at best. Danger is they think they are better than they are, so don't expect excellence.

We left CSA to attend this school. My child's reaction when asked about being in the new school; "I learned more in a week at Creekside than I learned in a year at CSA." Respect and Responsibility are truly expected and reinforced here. We really enjoyed the front office staff, principal and teachers. Very pleased with the experience and look forward to the much more expanded opportunities in this district than in the one we left. Thanks Creekside for warmly welcoming my child and family and leading a great school year!

Excellent school! Very welcoming to us when we moved here recently. Made my daughter feel at home right away. Very supportive teachers and excellent front office staff. Numerous parents volunteer on a daily basis to help support the students. Glad we moved here!

Strong supportive loving environment. Excellent teachers that integrate challenging academic skills in a fun and fascinating way. They teach character education with REASON, RESPECT, & RESPONSIBILITY theme. A safe place to grow and learn!
