I can’t say enough positive things about this building or the staff. I love seeing all of the parents at the award assemblies. I’m not sure what’s different this year, but clearly parents want to be in this building. Activities are more packed than the other schools my kiddos attend. Harrisonville Elementary is positioned for great things.

this school is great. I have lived here since 2008 and noticed that when I arrived here they weren't up to date on security system and asked about it and they informed me that it was scheduled to be put in soon. Now they have the security that they had to put in and there primary concern is education and safety. my daughter was in school at blue springs lucy franklin elementary and moved here and improved greatly to her teacher and no thanks to the blue springs district. Five stars

We had problems with our child's classroom teacher. She was a first year teacher and simply wasn't experienced enough yet to handle our exceptionally bright but often disruptive child in the classroom. The principal went above and beyond to alleviate the frustration not only for us but for our child too. The year finished out great thanks to the time, caring and effort from the staff.

Please before you choose to put your children in this school, think again. The principal of this school is awful and treats the children very badly. She couldn't make it as a teacher so now she bullies the kids as their principal. Office support staff is nice but that won't help your children get a good education. This school has not met satisfactory scores on the MAP test in years. The scores they show on here are actually higher than reported to the district. Until they replace the principal and do a complete overhaul on the staff of this school the kids here have no chance.

Safety for the children and not adhering to court orders seems to be this schools downfall
