Best school. As a parent I know I can have ease of mind knowing that my kids are at South River. Every teacher cares and it shows. They have a ton of after school events and i really makes a family environment. I am so happy to call South River my son's school. My daughter has moved up to middle school but we here k-5 and there are absolutely NO REGRETS.

I am very confident with South River and think that the staff goes above and beyond to make sure the students achieve academically.

Horrible. They do not let some children progress due to their policies. They want all the children at the same level.

A wonderful school, the staff is kind, the teachers are dedicated. My girls love to go to school. My oldest daughter started there in Kindergarten and is about to enter her final year as a 5th grader, my younger daughter also started in Kindergarten, and is entering 2nd grade. We couldn't be happier. They have a wonderful balance of learning and fun and letting kids be kids in a safe and happy environment. South River is the closest thing to a private school you could get in a public school. Highly recommend if you are looking for a school that is family oriented and puts your child's education and safety first.

South River Elementary is a great school I have had one child that has gone through K-5 and I have another child in the school presently. The teachers and principal are top notch and the parent involvement is incredible. I would highly recommend this school to any parent.

My boys (2nd and 4th grade) have been attending Southriver since Kindergarten and it is a wonderful school. All the teachers so far have been great, the staff welcoming and strong leadership from the principle. I could not have asked for a better school for my children.

South River Elementary has been the answer to our prayers. We were first time parents and hadn't had any experience with choosing a school that would nurture our daughter as well as teach her. After sending her to a school that was horrible at nurturing and redirecting children, we prayed that God would send us in the right direction. That is exactly what happened. Mrs. Fraeyman's first grade class was a God send. She is amazing with our daughter. This school has shown us that shaping the child of this school is their top priority. I thank God for everyone that works with the staff to make it a wonderful experience for the children as well as the parents. You guys are awesome!

I've been an involved parent at South River Elementary School for 11 years. The teaches and principal are great and the parent involvement in phenomenal. Because we have so much parent participation and active PTC we are able to offer many fun after school functions. Some of them include an Ice Cream Social, Movie Nights, Game Nights, Fall Festival, Field Day, Holiday Party Events, etc. The school practices the Fish Philosophy! which is an amazing practice for a school or work atmosphere.

Great teachers and the school is beautiful. However, the principal does not let boys be boys. They cannot play tag, football, soccer, etc. My child loved it until the principal put the strict rules in place 5 years ago.
