If you are looking for a student centered school with the kindest and hardest working staff, this is the place to send your kids. My experiences have been positive and the support offered by all staff is exceptional. The teachers and principal are kind, helpful, and responsive. The learning climate is fantastic and the effort shown by everyone from the lunch staff to the classroom teachers is everything you would hope for for your child. This school is a great place to learn and grown for elementary aged students.

I have one child that currently attends Yacks and another child that attended and has since moved on to Middle school. The teachers, principal, support staff, are all amazing. Every year they improve not only their test scores but also their extracurricular activities. My son ran a 5k this year! He is flourishing in this environment and I could not be more proud to be a Marlin! The principal and teachers are so positive! They are truly bucketfillers!!

I am a parent of three students who have attended Yacks with the current principal! She is highly engaged! She is visible, approachable, and positive! Yacks just scored number ONE IN THE DISTRICT in 3rd Grade Math and 5th Grade ELA! And near the top and all other areas!!! LOVE YACKS!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! The teachers are incredible!!!! Best school ever!!!!

We love Yacks! We started here and then moved out of district. We made the decision to apply for school of choice and now drive to have our children continue going here. The staff is amazing! They have seriously been the best with my kids and are so willing to help whenever and wherever needed. It may be socially or academically but they’re always willing to help. They want to make sure your children succeed. Mrs. Darlington (the principal) is GREAT! She truly has the best interest for all students and tries to mend every situation professionally. She’s a team player and wants the best for students and parents. It’s a tough job and she does it with grace. I have never felt like my kids were unsafe. There is a process that takes place for all safety concerns and I am happy with how they’re handled if they happen. We have great family engagement! A fantastic PTC that truly does everything for the kids to try and make them have the best elementary school experience possible! Overall, I would absolutely recommend Yacks to anyone in the area who has elementary school age kids! Great school!!!

My kids have attended Yacks for years and love it! The principal does many things for the students above and beyond the scope of her job description. The teachers are all wonderful & communicate with parents often.

Chose this school over my own district: I am a parent who is very concerned with the quality of education for my children. When it was time to decide on which school to send my oldest to, I did not hesitate to enroll her at Yacks. I have had many years of contact with the staff there and know that they are a dedicated, hard-working group of people who want every child in that school to succeed. My oldest is now in her 3rd year there and my youngest attends as well. Both are flourishing under the guidance of their teachers and the support staff in the building.
