The support for special needs has been a struggle. Any assistance is limited and seems rushed. Two years ago an educator did not complete necessary time with student.

My daughter went to Beacon from K-3rd grade, all of her teachers were wonderful. I was very sad when she finished 3rd grade, but Mrs Hughes was her favorite teacher ever! She worked with my daughter and challenged her when she thought the school work was simple.

Beacon Elementary is a Wonderful Scchool. Not only do they teach students to achieve the highest in learning , they also teach the highest in behavior. They teach the students to be mannerable and respectable in the classroom as well as in the hallways. The Beacon Way is the best way. Thank you, Mrs. Steindel & Mrs. Foster, you are soooo appreciated.

My daughter attended Beacon for the 2009-2010 school year. Her third grade teacher, Mrs. Hughes was FANTASTIC!!! She goes above and beyond to make sure all her students are learning. She is very creative with teaching new concepts. All of the teachers are truly dedicated to their profession. The principal, Mrs. Gottsleben is absolutely fabulous. She is a kind and fair person who always has the students best interests at heart. Beacon is a wonderful school with many dedicated parents. We will miss the Beacon way.
