Constant bullying and nothing is done. There are supposedly good programs for stopping bullying but it doesn’t seem anything is EVER done for it. The person defending themselves first is. ALWAYS punished, and something REALLY needs to be done about that…

My daughter graduated from Seneca Valley. It's the best school. The teachers are just great. The principal of the Sr High was around when I was in high school. Great guy. Can't say enough good about the school.

As a past student and as I read some of the revues by some of the past students it's so funny how bad a review some these people give. No school is perfect Seneca is one of the larger school districts in area. They have nice updated buildings and lots of opportunities in different sports and clubs.

Wow after reading all the negative reviews I feel much better about myself because I barely had to try back then and it still wasnt anything compared to college. If they are having a hard time at Seneca dont waste your money on an expensive college.

1 child previously attended and one currently attends. Both children have had a postive experience. Seneca offers accelerated courses such as AP and College in High School which both of our children participated in. There are a variety of clubs and sports. Our son received an academic scholarship to college and graduated from Seneca.

We have two children that attended the district. One graduated and got a scholarship to Penn State. We are very satisfied with the school district.

Its really a good chalenging school. Could be run a little better though. Nice building.

When you go to this school you will watch lots of movies and do in-class readings. You will later spend weeks at a time preparing for a research paper which leads you into the senior project. The senior project requires twenty hours and will require you to explain your project to judges while reading note cards for ten minutes.

There are so many kids at this school that I never saw the same face twice. I'm a very social person but I found it very difficult to socialize here. Being a new kid, no one wanted to acknowledged my existence. The guidance department was very unprofessional. I joined in the middle of the year and they put me in a completely different, higher level science class. I can't say anything good about the academics. I was overwhelmed by the amount of work I had to do, but I still felt like I wasn't learning much. The work I had to do was not exactly difficult, just VERY time consuming. I felt like I wasn't being challenged. Eventually I couldn't stand going here anymore. My parents and I had a meeting with the head principal to see what my options were. I asked if I could switch to a public cyber school but he said my only option is to join SV's cyber program. I decided against this after learning I would have to go to school and sit in the computer lab every day. I eventually found out the guy was flat out lying to us. When you enroll in cyber school, your local school district is billed for your school supplies/books. The principal lied to save his precious school district money....

I graduated from Seneca back in 2003 if you say this school doesn't hold up or wonder how it has such a high score it's because Seneca is a fantastic school the teachers and staff actually teach you what you need in real life and prepare you for collage if your child has a hard time learning at Seneca it's because he or she lacks proper drive and motivation which is the parents fault not the schools.

Your child can get an education worthy of admission to a top 10 ranked university at Seneca Valley High School. The Honors and AP courseload is rigorous, and the teachers are outstanding. The high school itself is modern and clean. My child was never ignored or bullied at any time during his stay in any Seneca Valley school. I'm sure that, like any large school district, there are problem students and problem teachers----but they are far outweighed by the positives. If they could finally find a resolution to the recurring labor problems between the school board and the teachers, Seneca Valley would be close to ideal.

I dont know why this school is rated 9 out of 10. First off, the amount of drugs in this school is overwehlming causing many familys to move just for the drugs alone. The bullying that takes place leaves kids feeling threatened everyday while they go to school. Not to mention the size of the school is well over populated leaving teachers treating students like numbers than people. I went there for four years and have had teachers barley know my name at the end of the year. Overall it was a terrible school district and I suggest looking into another school district.
