    The school is unique in special education in that it is oriented towards students with anxiety and mood disorders and autism who have been victims of harassment or bullying in public schools

    The Calais School is an amazing and nurturing place. The children who participate really thrive in this environment. Not only are the academics excellent, but the therapeutic component really helps the children be successful socially and personally. The teachers and support staff are very experienced and committed to the children's success. The children want to come to school and they are happy. I highly recommend The Calais School.

    The Calais School takes an individualized approach to help kids learn. I've seen so many students come from school districts where they are bullied and misunderstood because they are different. At this school, kids are able to be themselves while they learn.
