I attended Western Christian from K-8th grade. This school is an amazing school that teaches kids things they could never get at any public school. The focus is on God and the Bible is included in every subject. The teachers are excellent and truly care about you and want you to succeed. The class sizes are small, so students get plenty of one-on-one help from the teacher. This is a school where you will find lifelong friendships, and learn important values and morals that you will carry with you for the rest of your life. This school isn't perfect, the only activity there really is is chorus and the academics can sometimes be a little challenging, but the good far outweighs the bad at Western Christian School. Great school that I would definitely reccomend.

Western Christian School is amazing. My son is graduating from 8th grade after having gone to this school since kindergarten. The school is small so each child gets the individual attention that they need to succeed. The staff and teachers are fantastic. You will not be disappointed if you send your child here. In fact, there is no comparison. Your child will receive an education that is far and above anything you'd receive at a public school. Inviting God into the classroom makes all the difference.

My son attended from K-4th grade, and it wasn't until we switched schools that we learned how far behind he was academically. We did not get accurate reports of my son's skill levels, or clear instruction about his assignments. Communication between teachers and parents is very poor. I was concerned with the difficulty we had with his math homework (we spent as much as 3 hours a night) and said so to his teacher at parent-teacher conference. She assured me they were spending extra time on math, but his classwork did not reflect that claim. Grades on his report card were inconsistent with his class work. He got passing grades when he should have been getting D's and F's; it seems they want to make sure all their students appear to pass, no matter what. This year at a new school, we discovered his skills in handwriting, spelling and math were worse than we thought (he scored in the 1st and 2nd percentile in these and other subjects on the standardized tests). This is inexcusable coming from a class with only 5 students per teacher. Fortunately at a new school, he is slowly getting back on track. Oh, and then there are the never-ending fundraisers. It's exhausting.

Our son has attended Western Christian since Kindergarten and he's now in 5th grade. The quality of education has been great. The class sizes are small and the teachers have time to give the kids a lot of attention. It's nice to be able to send our son to a place where talking about God isn't banned, it's part of the curriculm! The tutition has been a worthwhile investment in our son's education.

This is a great school! I have two children that attend Western Christian and will soon be sending a third! The teachers are great with the children, they receive a lot of individual time, and you don't have to worry so much about bullying and other stuff that goes on in the public school. I could not imagine my children going anywhere else!
