Principal Wilson runs an exceptional school. We have been very impressed with the communication on all levels. We are confident that the school provides a safe environment for our children to learn and grow.

We have kids on both ends of the learning spectrum, one with an IEP and one in advanced classes. Both of our children's unique needs have been addressed. We look forward to seeing the new principal continue this trend.

We have not had the good fortune as others have of having a good experience with Topsail Elementary they seem to be a year behind education wise than the school we came from and in turn our child has not been challenged this year at all,there are areas that could definitely be improved and better organized.This school offers no where near the various programs and special opportunities that our last school did but then again NC does seem to be lacking in the school funding area so this may be one reason for not having those extra benifits.

We have three kiddos in TES. We have been through multiple teachers and many different situations. We have yet to have a bad experience- in fact- we are amazed at how much EVERYONE there genuinely cares about the kids. Our kids know they are cared for and have been given incredible opportunities to excel and display their unique abilities. In some situations, our children have required special accommodations, and those were provided to them in a very caring, effective way. We feel lucky to be a part of the TES family.

After living out of state, and moving to the area... my kids attended pender county schools for the past 2 years. My youngest child attends TES. I have seen her thrive. The group of teachers she has are awesome. They encourage her, and make learning fun. The administration works hard to maximize learning, and they put kids in groups to help them achieve at their own level- if there is extra help needed, it is given.. if they are excelling, they give them work to help them reach further. I am proud to have my kids in this district.

If you have a special needs child with an IEP Or 504 you should rethink enrolling them in Topsail Elementary. Principal is uncaring teachers are uneducated on issues and the overall feel is that they don't want to be bothered with accommodations. We are incredibly disappointed in TES.

I have two children in this elementary school, and, boy, am I pleased with everything about this school! I actually find myself wanting to get involved more and more with the school because of its positive environment! Couldn't ask for a more involved principal. Teacher communication with the parents is excellent. A day doesn't go by without some kind of update on at least one of my children's progress. Their focus is 110% on student achievement. Fabulous!!!

If you are looking for a great school,Topsail Elementary is the best! Our three kids had some really great teachers and learned so much academically! The Secretary treats everyone like family and the Principle makes every effort to be involved in all activities. All staff are great and we wish them greatly!!

We just moved into this area and we are very pleased with Topsail Elementary. The teachers are wonderful, caring people that also let you know what your child needs to work on to become a better student!! My daughter is challenged and enjoys being at school! We are very glad our children are Ospreys. The principal is also very visible before during and after school! She is a great leader!
