Some excellent teachers who genuinely care. They deal with bullying issues right away. A few teachers who seem indifferent. My child was allowed to fall through the cracks educationally and I was not notified until I saw this on the grade card. I had to request a conference. Later he was diagnosed with a disability but it seemed the bare minimum was done to communicate with parents. Not enough field trips, or parent teacher communication.

All the teachers and staff are personal towards the students. Their are wonderful opportunities for the children such as intro to volleyball, band, strings, many field trips around to colleges and farms. Teachers are great and there for the students. They want them to succeed and will do everything in their power to do so. Out of all the schools Ridgeway is the best. My child has been a Ridgeway star since kindergarten and now she is in sixth grade, straight A student, honor roll every year! Mrs. Wagonfield is a wonderful principle and keeps the children having fun while learning!

Ridgeway prides itself as the gem of Hamilton city schools. There were many opportunities for both of our children to excel in both academics and the arts. This school also has the friendliest crossing guard who loves "her kids."
