    My children are growing and learning every day at Lamar. The teachers care about every student and work to provide the best education possible for them. Thankful to live in a great school district!

    Our family moved from another school district where the schools are rated outstanding. We were so hesitant about Greenville schools but it appears that was for nothing. Granted it is only the second week of school but I have to say that so far we are amazed at the attitudes of the teachers. Their ideas are fresh and innovative. They are very caring and concerned. They make learning fun. The communication between parents and teachers is wonderful. We are so pleased with the staff in every situation, and just couldn't be more pleased and confident that our son is getting a great education.

    My son goes to Lamar Elementary. It is his first year, they have made his transition to school comfortable. We are so excited about his future!!
