Very bad. Staff is rude. Don’t treat children with disabilities very well.

The principal, Ms. Readus won't bother to handle anything. The staff. for the most part seems to just be there for a check and this whole school.has failed my.child

I've never had a harder time getting my kid enrolled in school. She missed over a week while I jumped through hoops.

The principal is beyond rude and has a nasty attitude. The only person who who has decent attitude is the lady at the front desk.

This school has dedicated highly educated teachers and students that are eager to learn and come to school everyday with a positive attitude about their education. This school does a lot for the little funding that they receive. This school was built a ways back and is in need of some serious upgrades. I feel that the school system and school board has neglected this very important fact. But, never the less this school staff, faculty, students and parents do what is needed for everyone involved. Sumner is a great school and would be better with an updated school and equipment.

My grand daughter just finished kindergarten at Sumner Elementary and as far as I could tell she was happy. Her teacher Mrs. Hayworth was wonderful we couldn't have asked for a better teacher.

Sumner is part of the reason that I started homeschooling my children, you could call it a blessing in disguise. The principal doesn't seem to care unless your child is a "problem." If you have a well-behaved, intelligent child, then you can be prepared to be shoved to the side, or picked on by administration.

This school needs to torn down. The buildings are very dilapidated. The teachers did not help me meet my child's academic needs.
