This school is straight up horrible. The food is bad, the community is horrid, and overall, the experience wasn't great. First off, the food. I have no words to describe how bad the food is. Secondly, the award ceremony. The ceremony is just a 2 hour long waste of time that isn't needed. Oh? You got straight A's? Too bad, we'll give the award to a kid who's barely passing with a C-. Overall, a nightmare place to be in.

This school does not meet the needs of students with learning disabilities. The school is quick to suspend students instead of helping them. They are also really good about just passing the student along instead of pushing the children to learn.

When it comes to protecting children from bullying and fighting this school is almost a gladiator school. The child who is bullied is punished as well. District policy states that even if a child is defending themselves they are punished as well. So to avoid getting in trouble the children are taught to let the bullying continue because if they do anything besides report the situation, they are punished as well. Also once it is reported very rarely anything happens to the bullies themselves.

I have had kids at Franklin for the past 4 years. The teachers and staff at Franklin is second to none. They challenge kids at their level. I feel that this school is safe for my children. The school celebrates the students successes, as well as encourage to strive for more. Franklin truly is a great school.
