  Mulick Park is a lovely little school. I have 2 students that currently attend. The teachers are exceptional and devoted to their students and the quality of instruction. The school uses a lot of technology for learning (iPads, Chromebooks) and does a lot to make learning fun and exciting including field day, after school activities, Halloween trunk or treat/carnival, Movie Night. Kids are able to earn tickets for positive behavior the results in snack cart privileges every couple of weeks. My favorite thing about this school is the absence of any type of bullying. The kids come from diverse backgrounds but seem to get along so well with each other. I love how easy it has been for my kids to make friends. I feel very comfortable with school level safety, the neighborhood is nice and the school sits in a Grand Rapids Park that is well-kept and has a lot of activity (sledding hill, tennis courts, playground). I wish the school had a school counselor on staff, but I appreciate that teachers take time to check-in with their students and have circle meetings that allow them to talk to each other. The current principal is a fantastic person that understands his students. He is often at the door greeting them at the beginning of the day with high-fives and outside at pick-up interacting with parents and students.   A warm and welcoming environment for the students, staff and volunteers. There's a lot of love in those classrooms and hallways. ...More Reviews
