I transferred from Rockford School district to Catholic Central. This was by far the best thing for me. This school offered classmates with parents of higher education which resulted in students that were more respectful and knew how to behave appropriately. This class body also always spent time together as a whole, meaning we would do things like say "fire at the rouge tonight and then we would all meet up at the rouge river and have a bon fire. We would also just go to a classmates home and it surprised me how much of my class would be there. We did things as a whole, not individuals or small groups. I was a troubled kid and thankfully due to the smaller class size the teachers knew us all personally which was very helpful. If you have trouble paying tuition then they do the "ALL A's Walk" every year to earn money toward tuition for those struggling to pay, and usually a very wealthy family will donate a substantial sum. Also, this school provided a lot of future networking opportunities, again do to the families expectation of higher learning. This was a fantastic school and I'm sure it still continues to be. Defiantly worth sending your child to.

What a great place! Engaged teachers, engaged students, engaged parents. It all leads to a remarkably positive educational experience. My five kids are just now out and are thriving. Thank you Catholic Central

I am alumni of Catholic Central High School. This was a high quality school when I graduated back in the early 2000's and I am amazed and proud of where it is today. The programs and course offerings extend to those that are high achieving to those that need learning support. They offer just as many varsity sports as those schools that have three times their population. The fine arts program is award winning and continues to impress. Students have opportunities to grow in their faith with retreats and weekly Liturgy at the Cathedral of St. Andrew. I have live in other major cities around the mid-west and Catholic Central High School is amongst the best secondary education you can find.

Best education in West Michigan-- the science and math programs are second to none in the area, and programs such as the Engineering Class and Independent Research Program give motivated students a leg up both in college admissions and their futures. The school consistently ranks highly, if not at the top, in average ACT scores among area high schools, and students have succeeded at the national level in science and engineering competitions. ... the other departments are good, too.
