I have had a great experience with this school and the teachers, as well as the offices staff and principal!!

My child goes to 1st grade at Cook Elementary. Could not have asked for a better experience. Ms Warchuck goes out of her way to attend to each and every kid in the class. Provides constructive feedback. The school is very well run.

I've had three children attend Cook so far and two more to go. I love that it is only grades K thru 2nd. It gives the little ones more freedom to be young and learn at their age level. The staff is top notch!

Cook seems to be a great school. However, I have to agree with one of the other parent comments- our daughter started kindergarten late and after one month the teacher was recommending she be moved to the early 5's because she wasn't up to speed with the other students. I don't believe the teacher was being anything but sincere, but it is such a fast pace that when even a kindergartner falls behind they can't catch up. Our son attends city school and I agree with the other comments on that rating that the school strives to build on each students individual skills and brings them up to speed. That school creates self thinkers and critical thinkers. The students look for a way to solve problems.

Wonderful School! Cook Elementary is K - 2nd grade and the school right next door (Mason) is 3rd - 5th grade. My oldest daughter attended 2nd grade and is now in the 4th grade at Mason. My other daughter has attended Kindergarten and is now in 1st grade. We love them both! Great teachers who honestly care about the well being of their students and want each one to succeed! When I walk into the front office I am greeted by my name and they also know who my daughters are. I am emailed my daughters grades each Friday to keep me updated on their progress. There are a lot of activities going on plus there is a lot of parent involvement which adds to the success of the school! The principal is actively involved in the school and doesn't just lock herself up in the office. We will be moving at the end of the year and I will miss Cook & Mason - NO SCHOOL could ever replace them!

My eldest daughter who attended Cook and is now in 5th grade w/ Mason absolutely thrived. My second daughter is now at Cook and the teachers are warm, fair, and command the respect and attention from their students. The teachers make school fun and educate through knowledge based games. I feel like we have a whole family in Grand Blanc and it thrives on the concept that, "it takes a village to raise a child!" A+++++++
