As a graduate of Grafton Elementary School, I feel that it is necessary to comment on the absolutely excellent education I received there. I attended the school from Kindergarten through Grade 6, and went on to a public highschool. I graduated from that highschool in the top of my class, and am currently attending a top liberal arts college. Grafton elementary school works to challenge each individual student, improving their weaknesses while allowing them to further develop their strengths. I still keep in touch with many of my former teachers, and know that without their constant help and kindness, I wouldn't be where I am today.

Ive had children in this school for 6 years and for the last 4 it has not been good, Its had to get any issues solved I wa there 3-4 days a week looking for answers they have a process that has many steps but no one can tell you what they are. It seems as children in unideal home situations are aloud to bully due to their home life. While other subjects get little attention the math and reading programs seem to be strong. If you have an average child then the school does a good job above average children are not challenged and a child that is just a little below grade level is left to struggle.

Wow my children love this school an the teachers. The teachers go above and beyond to make sure that all kids are getting a great education. The kids are asked to do a lot of critical thinking which will be the skills that they will need ot have in the work force of the future. The only problem the school has is that parents who have issues wtih the school do not work with the school to hellp solve these problems they only complain.

All of my children went from K-6 at Grafton Elementary and I was extremely happy with their experience. I work in higher education and I am a big fan of critical thinking and cultural/global awareness. My children received those gifts--and the basics--in spades. I was particularly impressed with the curriculum in social studies (history), science, and language arts. My son went on to win awards in mathematics. There is a strong volunteer base at the school as well. Alumni of the school keep in touch with one another.

Oh heavens, they don't even have textbooks. The town has obscene property taxes, though, as a result of inept management and runaway spending.
