This school was a terrible experience for my son. His class was over crowed 28-1 and was hard for him to keep up.

Class sizes make it very hard for kids to learn. 27-1 ratio is not ok for how high the tuition is. My step son struggled to finish 8th grade here. I am terrified he is not ready for high school.

Disappointing academic focus and lack of Honor Roll System at Foothill Christian School! As a concerned parent, I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience with Foothill Christian School in Glendora. It is disheartening to witness the school's steady decline in its commitment to academic excellence and the decision to abandon the honor roll system, which once celebrated and motivated students for their achievements. By eliminating this vital recognition program, Foothill Christian School has inadvertently discouraged academic growth and undermined the students' confidence. While parents entrust their children to educational institutions primarily for a strong academic foundation, this school seems to have lost sight of that goal. Moreover, the school administration's poor communication and responsiveness exacerbate the issues. Concerns and inquiries from parents are often met with indifference or delays, leaving them feeling unheard and undervalued.

Amazing school. Our 3 children excelled in High School and in College after attending FCS. We can't say enough about this school academically and with how it helped build their character.

Avg. Even with my oldest child that was in to so called top class and higher level. All they can do is Avg when tested and into 9th grade at private high school. Per Damien kids leaving FCS test mid level in there highschool most of the time

I have been connected with FCS for over 8 years and some of these negative reviews are laughable. The leadership at FCS is better than any that I have found in my career as a teacher. The teachers are committed to their students, as well as the parents of those students. Their approach to bullying is exemplary and other schools should take what Foothill has to offer and implement it within their own context. While some on here seem to have a problem with the course work, as a high school teacher who has had the privilege of teaching numerous Foothill graduates, I can tell you that students who come out of there are better prepared for high school than the students from any other school in the area. So while I have never taught at the school myself, you better believe that I will send my children to Foothill, because from the Preschool all the way up through the Jr. High their administration, faculty, and staff have proven themselves to be nothing short of amazing - and the quality students that come out of Foothill only testify to this truth.

My child was struggling with all the testing that they do in third grade. I did not agree with testing as much as they do EVERY week (Tuesday, Wed, Thurs, and Friday). We held a meeting on my daughter not completing her work and then we came to a consensus to do a Connors test on her. She came out positive on the Connors test as elevated or possible ADHD. Our second meeting, they told me that they've exhausted all their resources and therefore will BLOCK ME from re-registering for next year. I was shocked by how they said this and that is EXACTLY how they said it. They then went on to say that my daughter was sweet and kind and that it would be in the best interest of my daughter. I don't think so, you can candy coat it all you want, the truth is she didn't fit into your criteria of a student. This is an appalling standard that after TWO meetings that this is how they handle a child not finishing their work! The gull of the school to think they are better than my child. I am a teacher in a public school system and this would have NEVER been said or handled this way. I forewarn any parent that has a child that struggles in any area, you are risking your child's well being. They do NOT bend in any fashion and only look at themselves.

I am currently a 7th grade student at this school, been attending since kindergarten, and I have to say, I love this school. This school really genuinely cares about their students and the everyone mostly knows everyone. No MAJOR problems usually take place at FCS. Very welcoming environment and it's really easy to find a place to belong here at foothill. Academically, FCS is fair. You either get the material or you don't. No in between. You either love the teachers or you don't. (Junior high) the elementary (tk-5th grade) teachers are all great and you really get your start in those grades. The Junior high teachers how ever, are a bit different. You either love them or hate them. The bible teaching program is fantastic. Science program in Junior high is fantastic. Math program is weak. English is okay, Spanish is good, history is good. Barley any homework in junior high at FCS, most work happens in class. Very safe school. I have never felt unsafe here. Very warm welcoming place. They have some stupid rules in dress code and other academic stuff but other than that great school. I think kids can really get their start at Foothill christian school. One bad thing is that most kids attending this school have been attending since kindergarten and above so it might be a bit hard to fit it but not a major problem. Never any bullying at Foothill, the friend groups aren't cliquey at all and everyone is really friendly. Most Junior high teachers do play favorites but other than that they're really great and help a lot. You either love the teachers or you hate them. They're either a hit or miss. Overall, send your kid here. There really isn't any major issues at the school and honestly you won't find any better than Foothill. It's not hard at all to get involved in the school and again Foothill provides a place for every student.

For the most part. Good teachers and how the school is run. Bad side, Lacks communication with parents. This is the down side of the school. Not organized on field trips. Overnight trips must be arranged better and have better communication with all parents. This is a must and the school is behind on this. Parents have a right to know all the people that will be with and around a child on any trip. The school is lacking on this when children will be away for a day or longer The overnight trips are lacking information and lacking meeting all parents going on the said trips. Teachers see no need for parents to meet other parents that will be on trips that are overnight with children. Wrong... Just a quick meet and greet a few days before a overnight trip could fix the issues but...

It's great to be part of a school that pursues academic excellence and character-building qualities with equal strength. Christian values and constant improvement in classroom technology, performing arts and mission outreach are foundational. As a grandparent, I can't think of a better place for my grandson to attend school.

Really!? The students received Principle Awards three trimesters in the roll received a principle awards dog tag!!! Could the school be a little bit serious in rewarding students' hard work especially for the 8th grade graduates. We would like to suggest school to give out honor cords to those graduating with straight-As in 8th grade years, that will be a lot more meaningful than the dog tag! This was very disappinting!

Our daughter is wrapping up her first grade year at FCS. We love it. The teachers are wonderful! They are very nurturing while providing a strong curriculum of learning mixed with fun. The best part about it is that she is learning in a good Christian environment.

This school has sunk to an all new low. We withdrew our child after three years of ongoing problems with teachers, the administration and our son being severely buliied by two children in his class. One came after my child with a pair of scissors while the other the son of ne of the teachers no less verbally harrassed our child to the point that he did not want to go to school. We made numerouse attempts to communicate and correct these problems. Even compling with the administration with having our son tested for an LD. When we finally decided to leave we respectfully requested a refund for the tuition we had paid in advance but had not yet received the services. Instead of refunding the 1 months tuition and childcare we received a letter thanking us for our "Donation to their annual fund" I am happy to report that our child is now in a safe nurturing atmosphere, but I strongly caution anyone who is considering Foothill Christian to think twice - This school is not run on Christian principles.

My daughter started the 6th grade a few weeks ago and we are extremely happy with this school. The teachers along with the principle are awesome. Just spend some time there and you will agree. See it for yourself. We came from BUSD and we are happy with the move.

The school has rapidly declined in the last three years. I am very DISAPPOINTED in the lack of education my children have received.

This school is making a huge difference in the life of my daughter. She loves her teachers and they absolutely love her. The academics are excellent, but it's also all of the other dimensions of life and learning that are helping her blossom. She's getting a fantastic education with Christian purpose.

FCS is an amazing school with a world class faculty. All you need to do is visit the campus and spend some time with the teachers and you will see how dedicated they to your children's academic and spiritual success. Amazing place!
