    Fantastic teachers and staff that care about academics, arts, and society. They are able to meet and exceed the needs of our vastly different children with ease. Staff and teachers are genuinely engaged and know each child by name. Parent volunteerism is high and the sense of community is best-in-class. Friendly inclusive atmosphere where awe can see our children learning & doing (putting what they have learned into practice). We LOVE GES!

    We moved 3 kids to this school mid-year last year (2013) and in a very short period of time the kids were not only happy, but they were excelling faster than in their previous school. This year is no exception, as we have a 4th entering in- the school work is engaging and the teachers and involved and up on where he kids are at! They are so organized, even when I'm not. The new principle is super friendly and fun for the kids. I really love Gaston Elementary School and the community!

    Gaston Elementary School has some of the best teachers in the County, unfortunately it also has the worst Principal possible! 5 Stars for the teachers, no stars for the Principal...
